Assisted living relief funds - Applications due TOMORROW

Last week, the Ohio Department of Aging (ODA) shared a list of assisted living providers who have yet to apply for relief funds made available through HB169. Thirty LeadingAge Ohio members appeared on the list, and LeadingAge Ohio has since reached out to each of these providers individually. Additionally, some members have reached out requesting assistance, noting that their applications were submitted weeks ago without any additional notice from the state. LeadingAge Ohio staff has been working with the Ohio Departments of Aging, Medicaid and the Office of Budget & Management to gain clarity on the process. 

LeadingAge Ohio is advocating for the May 6 deadline to be extended, to allow sufficient time for the state to process applications and give providers more opportunity to respond to issues. Questions related to these funds may be directed to Susan Wallace at swallace@leadingageohio.org.
